Black Schools Unity Project (BSUP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit service and social organization which is based in Spring TX, and geographically represented in the greater Houston region. The Black Schools Unity Project is currently seeking sponsors who are gracious enough to assist with our efforts in supporting our youth's dreams of continuing their education. More importantly, our youth will be given the opportunity to develop confidence to feel they can and will be an asset to their community, and develop dreams for their future endeavors of becoming engineers, accountants, doctors, entrepreneurs. etc. Each year, our organization sponsors high school seniors graduating from one of our prestigious Historically Black High Schools in the Houston surrounding area, by providing scholarships to qualified applicants.
Black Schools Unity Project’s aim is to enhance the quality of life within the community. Public service, leadership development and the continuance of education of youth are the hallmarks of the organization’s programs and activities. Black Schools Unity Project addresses concerns that impact youth’s society educationally, civically and economically.
The Black Schools Unity Project was officially organized in 2017. We seek to preserve the legacy of Historically Black Schools in Houston and surrounding areas, while supporting their future academic excellence. In 2019, 2020 and 2021, the BSUP Nonprofit helped a total of four graduating seniors from Kashmere, Worthing, and Skyline High Schools, by providing Scholarships to various Universities.
